Facing the dual challenges of raising funds for summer programming during a pandemic and the reality of an already overextended communications department, the YMCA of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin asked us to lead the creative, strategy, and marketing for a new summer fundraising campaign that kicked off with a highly successful virtual event that raised over $200,000.
The Brighter Futures campaign was designed to raise funds so that underserved youth across the Bay Area can have a chance to participate in vital programming where they can learn, grow, and thrive. Kreativz also produced, filmed and edited videos for the campaign that are featured prominently on the site and social media ads.
The money raised through this campaign helped fund programs that serve as many as 10,000 youth per day across the Bay Area. The campaign ran through July of 2021.
